The Thornhill Rattlers defeated the Markham Waxers 6-2 in a contest that didn't see the final score reflect the actual competition at ice level. A physical game, often feisty, the Waxers simply didn't have things go their way in what was one of three season ending contests that are somewhat meaningless in that Markham had already locked up fourth spot in the division. Jason Fraccaro's three assists helped ice the Axemen.MARKHAM DEFEATS AJAX

The Waxers win over Vaughan was the classic team effort victory.WAXERS "THUMP" THE VIPERS 
Markham in it's fourth game in six nights came into Friday night's match against the first place Vaughan Vipers and played solid fundamental hockey to defeat the Vipers 5-3. Kevin Tompkins led the attack with a pair of goals, the fourth straight contest that he's scored in.

Kevin Tompkins scored for the third game in a row but it wasn't enough this night.EARLY DEFICIT TOO MUCH TO OVERCOME AS 'CANES TURN AWAY WAXERS 
The Waxers traveled to Newmarket to complete the home and away series and after falling behind early 3-0 they fought their way back to within a goal twice before succumbing eventually 7-4.

If there is anyone playing better than this young man, he must be pretty darn good.WAXERS EDGE 'CANES 
Markham continues to play solid two-way hockey and results are beginning to show, this time with a 3-1 decision over Newmarket on Tuesday night. [recap]
