The Waxers will honour 5 graduating players on January 31, 2003.

 2003 GRADUATE APPRECIATION NIGHT
WAXERS HONOUR THE "CLASS OF 2003"
#19 RYAN STEANE

Ryan Steane is the longest serving Waxer and is completing his fourth season after joining the team out of Midget. Ryan scored his first Junior A Goal on January 2nd, 2000 during a 6-2 victory in Aurora.

That next summer, Ryan was severely injured in a swimming accident and suffered a fractured neck. He missed the entire 2000-2001 season. His tremendous hard work and determination paid off and he made a triumphant return to the Waxers on September 14th, 2001. His comeback complete, Ryan scored 15 goals and added 17 assists playing in all 49 regular season games.

Having established himself as a solid power forward "Steaner" came back even stronger this year and was named an Alternate Captain. Ryan is the consummate teammate and is respected around the league for his willingness to play any style. This season, Ryan has collected career-high statistics with 18 goals and 16 assists for 34 points.

An inspiration to all of his teammates, Ryan and his family have been valued and loyal Waxers for the past four years.
