WAXERS HONOUR THE "CLASS OF 2003"
#13 TONY ROSSI
Tony Rossi was acquired by the Waxers during the summer of 2002 from Division rival Wexford Raiders.

During his early years in the Provincial league, Tony was an All-Star last season and a huge part of the 2002 South Division Championship club. Tony collected 49 goals and 60 assists for 109 points in his first two seasons.

As a Waxer, Tony made his presence felt in our season opener when he scored a goal and added 1 assist while assisting Markham to a stirring comeback in a 4-4 tie against St. Mike’s.

This year he has been the Waxer’s leading scorer with 19 goals and 46 assists for 65 points. Tony was named OPJHL South Division Player-of-the-Month for December 2002. He has a history of being on winning teams and playing on provincial champions in both Midget and High School. General Manager Larry Herrington recognizes the trade that brought Tony to the Waxers as clearly the best deal he has ever completed!

Tony has a terrific understanding of the game and is dominant player at both ends of the rink. Tony is a big game player and the Waxers are counting on his skill, leadership and desire to lead us through the playoffs.
