WAXERS HONOUR THE "CLASS OF 2003"
#27 MARK MENONTE
Mark Menonte is in his 3^rd year as a Waxer after coming to the team from the All-Ontario Champion Richmond Hill Midgets. His older brother Joe was a goalie on the 1996-97 Waxer squad and Mark has been a dominant two-way center for the Waxers since the 2000 season.

Establishing his skill level early in his career, Mark scored his first Junior A goal on September 17^th 2000 in an 8-3 win over St. Mike’s. He completed his first season scoring 21 goals and 27 assists in 44 games.

Mark picked up where he left off the next year finishing with 17 goals and 45 assists in 45 games for a total of 62 points. Mark raised his game to another level in the 2002 playoffs leading the Waxers in scoring with 9 goals and 8 assists in just 11 games.

This season, Mark was selected as Team Captain. His competitive drive and ability to excel in big games have helped guide this year’s squad to the first 30 win season in two decades. He is pound-for-pound one of the toughest players in the league yet Mark has the ability to dictate the pace of play. This year he has scored 21 goals and added 36 assists for 57 points in 41 games. He is our respected Captain and the Waxers and our fans look forward to Mark leading this team to playoff success.
