2003 GRADUATE APPRECIATION NIGHT 
WAXERS HONOUR THE "CLASS OF 2003"
#12 LIAM BOWEN
Liam Bowen joined the Waxers in the Spring of 2002. Having played the 1999-2000 season with the Aurora Tigers, Liam did not play competitive hockey for the next two years while at Fanshawe College in London. 

As a Waxer he made an immediate impact with this team registering his first point in his first game and picking up his first goal in his second game, a 5-2 victory over Pickering on September 14^th. Liam notched a hat trick on November 10^th against Newmarket and became the second Waxer to surpass the 20 goal mark this season. Liam has scored 24 goals and 20 assists for 44 points in 45 games this season. 

The son of Maple Leaf broadcaster Joe Bowen, "Bonesy" has brought an infectious passion, work ethic and joy to the Waxers this season. He is a leader in the dressing room and on the ice. We expect to see him with an NCAA school next year. The Waxers are pleased that Liam chose to return to the league and to graduate as a Waxer!
