WAXERS ADD EXPERIENCED ATHLETIC THERAPIST The Waxers are pleased to announce that Phil Voutier has joined the team as the new Athletic Therapist. Phil brings a wealth of OPJAHL experience to the squad having worked throughout the League over the past four seasons with Ajax and Brampton. Phil is a graduate of Laurentian University with a B.Sc. in Kinesiology and of Sheridan College as a Certified Athletic Therapist. Phil has worked as a Trainer for a number of years including Head Trainer/Therapist for the Sudbury Spartans of the Nothern Football League, the Toronto Young Nationals and the Toronto Red Wings hockey clubs. He has also been selected to work as a Therapist at both the GTHL and Provincial Under 17 Evaluation Camps. Phil and his wife Elsa have two children. Michelle, age 9, hopes to suit up for the Canadian National Womens Hockey Team in the future while Jonathon, age 7, is looking forward to playing goal with the Markham Waxers Novices for the 2001-2002 season.
