| Phil has
worked the past 5 seasons in the OPJAHL and OHL. Having spent two seasons with
each of the Ajax Axemen and the Brampton Capitals, Phil was hired by
the Waxers in 2001. Shortly after, Phil received the opportunity to
work with the Mississauga IceDogs for the season and jumped at the
chance. Phil returns to the Waxers for the 2002-2003 season.
Phil is a graduate of Laurentian
University with a B.Sc. in Kinesiology anPhil retd of Sheridan College as a
Certified Athletic Therapist. Phil has worked as a Trainer for a
number of years including Head Trainer/Therapist for the Sudbury
Spartans of the Nothern Football League, the Toronto Young Nationals
and the Toronto Red Wings hockey clubs. He has also been
selected to work as a Therapist at both the GTHL and Provincial Under
17 Evaluation Camps.
Phil and his wife Elsa have two
children. Michelle, age 10, hopes to suit up for the Canadian
National Womens Hockey Team in the future while Jonathon, age 8, is
looking forward to playing goal with the Markham Waxers Novices for
the 2002 - 2003 season. |
