WAXERS ANNOUNCE THREE MORE 2000-2001 COMMITMENTS 
The Waxers are pleased to announce three more commitments for the upcoming season, these are in addition to the earlier commitments announced in the middle of May.

Jesse Boucher: A local resident, Jesse joins the squad after starring in both High School and GTHL Midget competition last season. Jesse was a member and leading scorer of the OFSAA Champions Brother Andre Catholic Secondary School, scoring over 50 goals for the Markham based High School. Jesse brings speed and skill to the table and certainly has a nose for the net.

Corey Smith: Corey spent the past season playing as an underage for the Syracuse Stars Bantam, he's an 1985-birthdate. Corey and his teammates won their State and Regionals before finishing second in the USA National Bantam Championships. Corey is a big and smooth skating winger who likes it best in the corners and in front of the net. Corey has been invited to the final camp of the New York State Select 15 team at the end of this month. The Waxers look forward to Corey joining the team and wish him luck with the Select 15s.

Patrick Diotte: Patrick is a 1982-born defenseman who toiled last season for the Sudbury Nickel Capital Midgets. Recruited heavily in the NOHA, Patrick is a steady, calm defenseman who is adept at carrying and moving the puck. Patrick will add mobility and poise to the blueline corps for the upcoming season.
