After a solidfirst 12 minutes, in which the Waxers held a 14-2 edge in shots and a 1-0 lead, Markham crashed hard and the Wexford Raiders ran away with the 2 points by a 7-1 score.

Kevin Cribari finished off a nice feed to the slot after Pat Porretta and Nathaniel Brooks cycled the puck down low for the 1-0 lead. Before the period ended however, the Raiders were leading 3-1, out shooting the Waxers 10-0 over the final 8 minutes of the frame.

The second and third periods were all Wexford as the Waxers could not get out of the hole they dug, and in fact, just dug it deeper.
