The Jekyll and Hyde Markham Waxers continued their up and down season with an embarassing effort which resulted in an 8-3 loss to St. Michael's.

The Buzzers jumped out to a 1-0 lead with just under six minutes remaining in the first period. The Waxers rebounded to tie the score when Pat Ferris made a terrific end-to-end rush while shorthanded and finished off the play with a beautiful one-handed goal mouth pass to Kevin Tompkins who stuffed it home for his 11th goal of the year. Alex Stoyan earned the other assist on the play.

The Waxers then had many glorious chances in the second period en route to outshooting the Buzzers 24-6 but the Buzzers came out on top after forty minutes 4-2. The Waxers lone goal of the second period came on a 5-3 powerplay when Rob Mazzuca one-timed a pass from Greg Chambers past the St. Mike goaltender. Jim Ulcar earned the second assist.

The Buzzers then outscored the Waxers 4-1 in the final period with Jimmy Ball scoring the only goal for the Waxers with assists to Ulcar and David Colucci.
