For the second Sunday in a row, the Waxers have rebounded to gain convincing wins over a visiting team, this time handling Parry Sound 8-4.

The Waxers started the game extremely strong surging out to a 7-0 lead after only 23 minutes of hockey.

Jason Young started things off banging home a rebound off a Lawne Snyder shot just under six minutes in to the game for a 1-0 lead. Then less than three minutes later Snyder one-timed a nice pass from Jesse Olden who had been fed from the corner by James Regan and Snyder's blast made it 2-0. With just over nine minutes left in the first, Chris Petracco tapped home a terrific goal mouth pass to finish off a nice rush by Kevin Tompkins to make it 3-0. Donald Johnson made it 4-0 when he stuffed home a powerplay marker after being setup by Joel Kitchen with under five minutes left in the first. Then Snyder finished the first period barrage with a wrist shot to the top right corner after consecutive drop passes by Regan and Rob Mazzuca on a 3-2 rush a minute after Johnson's goal.

The Waxers continued their attack early in the second and call-up Mark Mitchell scored his first Jr. A goal on a nice wrap around effort after being sent in by Jim Ulcar and Petracco. Less than a minute later, while killing a penalty Regan scored on a wrist shot after Snyder had sprung him on a 2-on-1 break with Olden just 3:20 into the second period. The Shamrocks got on the board five minutes later and it was 7-1 before Petracco scored his second of the game assisted by Johnson and Kitchen for a powerplay marker and an 8-1 lead with three minutes left in the second period.

Parry Sound got another one before the period ended and then scored twice in the third in the last ten minutes to halve the lead to 8-4. The win ups the Waxers record to 4-2-1, good enough for nine points in seven games..
