WOES HALT PLAY
[updated] Monday night's contest between the Markham Waxers
and Aurora Tigers was halted in the second period when a piece of glass
near one of the corners shattered. After a long wait the game was stopped.
There has been a ruling with respect to the consequences as the
result of the arena mess on Monday night.
The contest will not be played to it's completion and as a result
both clubs, Aurora Tigers and Markham Waxers will end up with one less
game played for this 1999-2000 season.
