The Waxers improved to a 3-0 preseason record with their second shutout and second 4-0 win, this time over Wexford.

After a scoreless first period, the Waxers opened the scoring when Bryan Lachapelle converted a centering pass from Jim Stamatopoulos after Dan Britt had sent the puck behind the net. A little over a minute later Daniel Sisca redirected a nice pass from Brett Barrer to make the score 2-0 entering the third period.

The third saw Barrer and Ian Malcolm score shorthanded goals to ice the victory.

Mike Lee went the distance stopping 23 shots en route to the shutout.

The same two teams meet again September 13th in Wexford at 7:30pm.
