| Jeff
is back for his fourth year with the Herrington's as the assistant coach specializing in
goaltenders. Jeff grew up playing in Nobleton and attended St. Andrew's College where he
won a provincial OFSSA championship in the high school ranks. Jeff continued his career
playing Junior A for the Newmarket 87s. Jeff went on to play CIAU hockey, attending Mount Allison
University for 1 year and then went and played at Wilfred Laurier University while
completing his degree. Jeff's Laurier squad and Russ's Western squad had many close games
over those next two seasons and Laurier eliminated Western en route to a CIAU Final Four
appearance in the 1991-92 season.
Jeff has been quite successful in his short
stay in the Junior ranks as his goalies have gone on to play at Royal Military College
(Jason Braden), Elmira College (Rob Ligas), Brampton Battalion (David
Chant) and Bowling Green University (Tom Lawson). Jeff
also played an integral role in Chant's selection as the winner of the Metro League's Top
Goaltender Award for the 1997-98 season.
Jeff currently lives in Aurora with his wife
Lisa and works in King City with his parents. |
