| Rob
returns to the Waxer organization for his first season as Strength
and Conditioning coach. He previously held the position of
Head Athletic Therapist during the 1995-96 season.
Rob has spent the
past ten years specializing in Athletic Therapy and Strength
Training at the community, Junior and Professional levels.
He has been nationally certified by the Canadian Athletic
Therapist's Association since 1996 and his past affiliations
include: the NHLPA, the NHL Official's Association, OHL Plymouth
Whalers, and the Thornhill Islanders Junior A Hockey Club where he
worked with then Head Coach Russ Herrington.
Rob is the founder
and owner of Progressive Athletic Growth Services (PAGS).
Established in January 1999, PAGS is a sports specific training
company whose goal is to maximize the performance potential of all
athletes. He currently counts Stephen Weiss (Florida
Panthers), Karl Stewart (Plymouth Whalers/Atlanta Thrashers draft
pick), Marcus Smith (Kitchener Rangers/Phoenix Coyotes draft pick)
and current Waxer forward Jeff Weiss, as clients.
Rob lives in Markham
