MARKHAM WAXERS ANNOUNCE SPECIAL PROMOTION FOR FANS FOR FEB. 5TH CONTEST
The Markham Waxers are excited to announce a special promotion that will give three lucky Waxers fans a chance to win $1,000.00 cash during the Waxers game Friday, February 5th at Centennial Arena when they host the rival Wexford Raiders.

Every paying fan will receive a special promotional ticket at the gate and from those distributed tickets three tickets will be chosen at random Friday night.

During an intermission those three lucky fans will have the opportunity to "Shoot and Win" which will be simply to shoot the puck into a target and the first successful shooter will receive $1,000.00 cash.

Also making his second appearance (after debuting last Friday night, Jan. 29th) will be the Waxers mascot, "Boomer". There were hundreds of young children at Boomer's debut and in a nutshell the kids "love him".

Friday night's matchup is a critical one for both teams as the Markham Waxers are ahead of the Wexford Raiders in the standings and the outcome of this match will go a long way in helping to determine the final playoff positions of both teams.

The Waxers this year are an exciting club as those of you who watch them regularly are aware of already and there is no doubt that this year's Waxers are the best Markham Junior A hockey club in many, many years.

You ain't seen nothing yet! This team is going places, big time!
