WAXER PLAYER-OF-THE-MONTH
FOR OCTOBER (INTERNET EDITION) AS CHOSEN BY THE READERS The leading scorer for the Waxers Ian Malcolm picked up the top spot this month. Malcolm had a tremendous month of October that saw him score 11 goals and earn 25 points in 11 games the Waxers played in that month. Lawne Snyder, Brett Barrer, Daniel Sisca and Tom Lawson rounded out the top five. All the players listed on the ballot ended up receving points with 22 different Waxers earning either a first- or second-place vote. This was the second straight month that 22 different players received first or second place votes. Readers were asked to submit their top-3 Waxers for the month of October and we awarded 5-points for each first-place vote, 3-points for each second-place vote and 1-point for each third place vote.
There were well over 100 respondents, after we filtered out invalid ballots we tallied up the results from 66 valid entries to arrive at the final counts for the Player-of-the-Month for October (Internet Edition: Reader's Choice) award.
