ROSSI SELECTED AS PLAYER-OF-THE-MONTH
Veteran winger and first year Waxer Tony Rossi has been named the South Division Player-of-the-Month for December 2002.  Acquired this past summer from Division rival Wexford, Rossi has brought a winning attitude to Markham and has consistently shown himself to be a big game player.

Leading the Waxers to a 7-2-1 record for the month of December, Rossi played in all 10 games and collected 6 goals and 11 assists for 17 points.  Rossi currently leads the Waxers with 59 points (14 goals and 45 assists) in just 41 games.  This places him 3rd in the South Division scoring race. Tony's play during the month helped the Waxers surge ahead in the standings going from a tight battle for first place at the start of the month to a 7 point lead at the Christmas break.
