"It certainly feels pretty good," said Guadagnolo of his performance in those back-to-back outings. Posting a 2.23 goals against average in seven outings and winning three of four starts between the pipes, Guadagnolo acknowledges much of what he's accomplished thus far wouldnšt have been possible without the support of his team. "I've played well, but the team has been playing well in front of me," he cited. "The team has been clearing rebounds in front of me and the wingers are coming down low. Overall though, Išm happy with the way Išve been playing." Making the jump to the Waxers from the Young Nationals bantams, Guadagnolo notes the game at the tier two junior A level is different from what he was accustomed to. "First of all, the length of the games are longer. Youšve got to be mentally prepared and the game is definitely more faster and players are more skilled," he cited. Herrington couldnšt be more happier with the contribution Guadagnolo has made so far. "He worked hard this summer and he's coachable and hešs learned a lot from Kevin (Sit, Waxers' other goalkeeper) and Sean Basilio (Waxers goalie coach). Hešs made a good adjustment. "Right now hešs playing with a lot of confidence and the puck has been looking like a balloon." As for his future, Guadagnolo hopes to continue his hockey career with an opportunity to play in the Ontario Hockey League next season. "Thatšs my goal," he said of his aspirations to play in the OHL. In Fridayšs win,
Liam Bowen and
Daniel Torres each
scored twice for the Waxers, who led 2-0 after one period and 7-0 through
two. Ben Cottreau,
Mark Menonte,
Pat Porretta,
Ben Boudreau and
