WAXERS PRESENT (AGAIN) ADDITION OF GUTHRIE 
The Markham Waxers have now added another important piece to the team puzzle. Paul Guthrie, a left-handed goaltender was obtained in a three-way deal and finally after much delay is official.

The acquisition of Paul, reported to be a Waxer near the end of August, has been confirmed following complications that eventually resulted in a three-way trade. The fallout from the deal is that the rights to forward Donald Johnson have been dealt to the Pickering Panthers and Paul joins the Waxers from the Bramalea Blues.

Paul, a three-year veteran, spent most of last season with Pickering in our division Our team didn't like to play against him and we realized that Paul was the type of player the Waxers needed.
