Markham Waxers Game Report

OCT. 29/2004 (Game 19) P1 P2 P3 OT FINAL
NORTH YORK RANGERS 6 0 2 - 8
MARKHAM WAXERS 1 1 3 - 5
Well, if you look at the game with a glass half full attitude you can say the Waxers outscored North York 5-2 over 50 minutes of the game, out shooting them in the process 31-14.  If you look at with a glass half empty approach, the Waxers were outscored 6-0 and outshot 9-3 in the opening 10 minutes of the game.  While both are truthful ways of looking at the game, the hall empty, in this case, badly outweighs the half full, and in the end what you have is the Waxers losing 8-5 in a game that determined first place in the South Division.

A nightmarish start for the Waxers, looking to rebound after losing for the first time in October only the night before.  Unfortunately, the hole was too deep to dig out of and Markham, while resilient, finish the month 9-2.  David Kostuch scored twice for the Waxers while Josh Jacobs, Brett Molnar and Riley Hill scored once.  Yiorgo Christodoulou, Brandon Rubeo, Derrell Levy, Nathan Morris, Mick Ralph, Cody Hodgson (from the Waxers Bantam AAA team), James Gaulrapp, Molnar and Jacobs each picked up one assist.
