The old and familiar refrain repeated by coaches through the ages and still remains a timeless truth was proved true in Oshawa Tuesday night as the Waxers were embarrassed with a 7-4 drubbing at the hands of the Legionaires. Wins come from a complete team effort more often than not, unfortunately as the Waxers found out, so do losses, this night's defeat was a total and collective letdown, some might argue we were "overdue" for one, you'd have a tough time convincing any of the dejected players of that fact last night.

The Waxers goals came from Ben Cottreau and a trio of powerplay goals, Pat Porretta with a pair and Tony Rossi with a single.

Friday the clubs face off for a rematch in Markham, game time is 8:00pm.
