WOES CONTINUE IN PRESEASON TILT
The Waxers continued a scary trend in losing Friday night to Brampton
for the second time in a week. This time, although scoring 6
goals, the Waxers again lose, by a score of 8-6.
The Waxers received goals on the
evening from Jesse Boucher and Ben Cottreau (2 a piece), Albert
Ferrante, and Pat Poretta.
The Waxers lead 2-1 after the first
period and 5-4 after two periods but could not hold on to the lead
down the stretch. The next order of business for the Waxers is a
home and home with the Thornhill Rattlers: Thursday, September 6
in Markham and Saturday September 8 in Thornhill.
