The Wexford Raiders hung to take a 4-3 decision from the
Markham Waxers at Scarborough Sunday night. [recap]

TURNS ASIDE 51 SHOTS TO TAKE WAXERS TO VICTORY
The Waxers defeated the visiting Pickering Panthers
5-2 at Centennial Arena Friday night. The Waxers received big league
goaltending from Jeremy Wenzel
who turned aside 51 of 53 Panther shots as the Waxers continue to make
life more difficult than it needs to be with some untimely penalties.
Markham received their scoring from newcomer Tom
Kotsopoulos (debuting with the Waxers) and Greg
Chambers who each had a pair and Joel
Kitchen added a slam dunk to round out the scoring. [recap]

The Waxers are very excited to announce that they have
acquired Tom Kotsopoulos

TURNAROUND ON THE BACK OF NETMINDER WENZEL
Markham played an effective two-way hockey game and
received outstanding goaltending from Jeremy
Wenzel as they defeated the Ajax Axemen 3-2 at Ajax Saturday
afternoon. [recap]
MARKHAM
PERFORMANCE CREATES MAJOR FRUSTRATION
St. Michael's defeated Markham 8-3 at Centennial
Arena Friday night to drop the Waxers one game below the .500 mark. The
strong coaching/management team of the Waxers is facing the ultimate test,
no doubt that the challenge will be met head on and with success. Look for
the Waxers to improve drastically over the remainder of the campaign, it's

WAXERS GET NO BREAKS AS
THEY DROP PERHAPS THE MOST ENTERTAINING GAME OF THE YEAR
Markham came into Thornhill to face the Rattlers for
the second time this season after being pasted 10-3 a week earlier at
Centennial Arena. The difference this time was that the Waxers had a
nearly full complement of players and the result was one of the most
entertaining games of the year. [recap]
BUZZERS
SILENCED AS MARKHAM WAXES ST. MIKES
Snapping a difficult losing string and with a lineup
that resembled the normal squad after an unbelievable flurry of injuries
the Waxers sprung for thirteen goals as they trounced the visiting Buzzers
13-6 Friday night at Centennial Arena. No time to relax though as they
face the tough Thornhill Rattlers Saturday evening in Thornhill. [recap]

The Waxer woes continue as they dropped their fourth
straight decision, 6-2, to the Wexford Raiders in Scarborough Sunday

Cross-town rival Thornhill Rattlers handed the
injury depleted Markham Waxers a 10-3 loss Friday night at Centennial

FALLS SHORT IN NEWMARKET
Newmarket defeated Markham 7-1 Thursday night in
Newmarket as the Hurricanes won for the second time in as many meetings
this year. [recap]
VIPERS
SHUTOUT WAXERS
The Vaughan Vipers bested the Markham Waxers for the second time in as
many meetings between these two clubs this season, this time by a 3-0
count. The Waxers played a solid game at both ends of the rink, strong
goaltending by Jeremy Wenzel
gave them a chance to win but they couldn't score. [recap]
