WAXER PLAYER-OF-THE-MONTH
FOR DECEMBER (INTERNET EDITION) AS CHOSEN BY THE READERS Waxers high-flying forward David Colucci copped the honours for the month of December. Following behind Colucci were defenseman Alex Stoyan and an entire forward line as Brett Barrer, Ian Malcolm and Rob Bumbaco rounded out the top five vote getters. All the players listed on the ballot ended up receving points with 23 different Waxers earning either a first- or second-place vote. Readers were asked to submit their top-3 Waxers for the month of December and we awarded 5-points for each first-place vote, 3-points for each second-place vote and 1-point for each third place vote.
There were well over 100 respondents, after we filtered out invalid ballots we tallied up the results from 73 valid entries to arrive at the final counts for the Player-of-the-Month for December (Internet Edition: Reader's Choice) award.
