WAXERS
COMEBACK, ONLY TO RUN OUT OF GAS IN OVERTIME
The Waxers made their one and only road trip of the year to Parry Sound
and made a valiant third period comeback, notching the tying marker with
less than four minutes remaining in regulation time. Parry Sound would get
the winner in OT but the Waxers earned a small victory with their comeback
as they were substantially undermanned heading into the contest and
recovered after a less than spectacular beginning. The recovery has begun.
Jason Young led the Waxers
with a pair of goals while Joel
Kitchen, Lawne Snyder
and Paul Robinson added a
single. [recap]
