Rob Bumbaco is
happy to be a
Waxer and can't
wait until game day.

Head Coach Herrington
likes what Bumbaco
brings to the team.

Rob
is a native of New Jersey and played last year with the Pittsburgh Jr. Penguins where he
was afforded lots of ice time. Rob is a highly skilled winger with exceptional quickness
and a tremendous work ethic. He will add creativity and offense from the right side.
Last year with the Jr. Penguins Rob scored 19
goals and opened the eyes of many observers as he seemed to single-handedly spark the
expansion Jr. Penguins drive for a playoff spot when he capped off a tremendous
performance by scoring the overtime game winning goal against Thornhill on February 1,
1998. That OT goal was his fourth of the game and he had a helper to go along with it.
Rob will make his Markham debut Friday night
as the Waxers host the Stouffville Spirit at Centennial Arena. If
you haven't made plans for Friday night already, plan on being there. EDITOR
