DROP A MEANINGLESS CONTEST
The Thornhill Rattlers defeated the Markham Waxers 6-2 in a contest that
didn't see the final score reflect the actual competition at ice level. A
physical game, often feisty, the Waxers simply didn't have things go their
way in what was one of three season ending contests that are somewhat
meaningless in that Markham had already locked up fourth spot in the
division. [recap]
